Danilo, has a strained relationship with his family. After receiving news of his father’s passing, Danilo returns home for the first time in years and is now faced with the responsibility of being his mother’s sole caregiver. This is no small task as his mother is rapidly losing her memories due to her late staged Alzheimer’s. She and Danilo now face a language barrier and struggle to reconnect. Danilo wonders if he will ever find peace with his family and his past.
