As a recent immigrant to the United States and Alabama, Rodney Smith Jr. was feeling lonely and without purpose. 7 years later, he has built a charity empire. “The Vessel” explores the story of how one man mowing his elderly neighbor’s lawn led to neighborhoods across the world feeling like home again.
