SYNOPSIS

A short documentary profiling the director of one of LA’s finest all-female mariachi groups, Mariachi Lindas Mexicanas. In a male dominated world of mariachi, she fights for recognition and carries the weight of fifty years of family tradition on her shoulders, while also seeking to empower future generations of women in mariachi — hoping to forge her own legacy as both a musician and a mother.
