Lao Zhang is an unsuccessful artist living on the edge of a metropolis. The burden of financial hardship and aging makes him desperate to secure an opportunity for an exhibition to showcase his work. When he fails to secure referrals from friends and professionals he barely knows, Lao Zhang eventually finds the courage to approach art galleries on his own.
